About the owner
Dr. Griffin is board certified in both radiation oncology and radiology. After graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College she practiced as a general practitioner for over a decade prior to returning to school to complete her training. She became a member of the Flint Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University first in 2010 as a radiation oncology resident, then stayed on to complete a diagnostic imaging residency. After 6 years of residency and too many board examinations to mention, Dr. Griffin stayed on as an associate professor, first in radiation oncology then later in radiology. Throughout her career at CSU, she has had a focus on oncologic imaging, both from a clinical and research perspective. She has authored numerous publications on the subject, has been the recipient of multiple grants in the field of cancer imaging, and has spoken at the local, national and international conferences on the topic.
